Gotto Wharf

The terminal at Gotto Wharf on Belfast's Herdman Channel could accommodate up to 550 TEU's in ten lanes and was equipped with two Wellman-Booth 30 ton Transporter and two 30 ton Arrol 2-6-3 Goliath cranes. The berth itself had a water depth 6.5 metres, being operative at all states of the tide.

Like the Dublin service, a sailing operated Mondays to Fridays connecting with Freightliner trains from Holyhead to London, Birmingham and Manchester and feeding into the freightliner network throughout the UK at those points
